John is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in personal tax and corporation tax. He specialises in tax planning for sole traders and owner managed businesses and has a pragmatic approach to tax issues which is always welcomed by clients.
William Alton
William has 16 years experience and studying with both the AAT and ACA, he has built up a wide range of knowledge in the accounting profession. William has a strong background in audit and accountancy and he is proficient in corporation tax. Applying a strong client focused approach to the work he has helped build lasting relationships and driven high quality work, whilst having a mixed portfolio has allowed him to engage with a variety of industries such as recruitment, nursing homes, property management and several development companies.
Dev Maudhoo
Dev Maudhoo qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2012. He specialises in general practice and management accounts for SMEs. Dev and his team specialise in prep of stat accounts, VAT return, prep of management accounts and providing bookkeeping services for our SME.
Jovan Mattu
Jovan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2022 with a top 50 accountancy practice in Central London. Jovan has been involved in listed client work, where her clients were listed on AQUIS and AIM. Previously, Jovan’s portfolio covered clients reporting under IFRS and FRS 102 in the healthcare, energy, and hospitality industries and has experience with auditing R&D companies. Jovan joined TLP in 2024 and is currently working in audit and accounts services, where her portfolio will be focused on companies within the healthcare, hospitality, and entertainment industries.
Chyvonne McDaid
Chyvonne joined TLP in 2006, initially working in the Admin and Payroll departments. Since 2008 Chyvonne has specialised in payroll and pension administration supporting our clients with, day to day processing, PAYE and NIC compliance, statutory payment legislation and automatic enrolment duties. Chyvonne and the department continue to support new and existing clients to make the payroll process simpler.
Jenny Thornton
Jenny began her career in payroll in 2012 and has acquired many years of experience and knowledge throughout this time. She has accomplished Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Payroll Procedures and Pearson BTEC Level 4 Certificate in Payroll Supervision. Along with her in depth knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations, payroll calculations and autoenrollment duties she also has good communication skills and builds good relationships with her clients.
Abid Ahmed
Abid joined the accounts department in 2022. With an ACCA Affiliate qualification and a degree in Accounting and Finance, Abid brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience to the accounts department. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to articulate complex financial information coherently are among his key skills. Abid and the departments role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, aiding in compliance, and delivering comprehensive, transparent financial insights to our clients.
